About Us!
We are Large Marge's Philly Cheesesteaks! We aren't just a Cheesesteak Shop. I would like to say we are a Philly Shop. Once you come through our doors you have arrived in South Philly without the airfare!!
Marge is a South Philly Native. Went to St. Maria Goretti High School '77. Played in the String Bands. Spent the summers in Wildwood. The rest is history!! If you want to know more just ask Marge.
We specialize in Cheesesteaks but we also have the best Italian Hoagies this side of I95!! We are also now making "PHILADELPHIA SOFT PRETZELS" exclusively at our store. It doesn't stop there!! We will have homemade lemon waterice this summer to go with the soft pretzels. Now all we need is a fire plug to cool off with and a game of stick ball!!
There's more!! We are now making our own brick oven pizza, panzerotti's (which is a deep fried calzone), regular calzones and stromboli. We make all of our own dough and sauces fresh in our store.
There is something for everyone. Taco's, Burgers, Hotdogs, Fries, Homemade Chili. Sometimes there is homemade Beef Stew. But that is usually for the cold weather days!!
We make our own hotsauce which we decided to name in memory of Marge's Grandmother "Cass Brown" It is "Cass Brown's Flaming Poo Hotsauce"
